I know it sounds so ridiculous and stupid to just say "turn it off and back on again" but what people don't understand is most computers these days have a built in system that is there to check for updates and also debug any broken systems that were running before the reset. Our internet connections have increasingly become the lifeblood of our households. ![]() Another thing to hard reset is the wall jack, this will give it a chance to update its firmware as well if it hasn't already. I'm not too familiar with the mesh system and how the different nodes have been working, but just as a precaution I would reset all your nodes AFTER you've reset your router too. hard reset that router every day in the morning (unplug it for at least 30 seconds, the google guys recommended up to 2 minutes.) I'm referring to your main hub router as well. I genuinely cant believe people are trying to use these speeds without constantly trying to reset the router. If you just go to google and type speed test in like the OP did this will give you the real time speed of what that computer is getting right then after going through the router. If you run a speed test through on an incognito window you will see what your speed your ISP is delivering to your house with no extensions interfering. Give it a genuine hard reset with unplugging power for at least 30 seconds or more giving the router a chance to flush its memory (a lot of us think this is the cause, the router is filling up with memory improperly and then bogging down to almost unusable speeds.) Unfortunately that's still the ONLY support they have been able to provide. It broke all the others that were working fine.ĬURRENT TEMPORARY FIX: Take a wild guess. One thing for sure is it started happening after they released firmware for their newest models of router. It's a known issue with their routers, as far as what is causing the issue its not so known on our side at least. ![]()
